Fishing line<\/h1>\n

MONOFIL-TECHNIK GmbH<\/b> classifies all of their monofilament fishing line under the oldest protected brand name — PLATIL\u00ae<\/b>.<\/p>\n

In 1949 Dr Karl Plate, the inventor of the first monofilament artificial fishing line registered this under today\u2019s worldwide known trading name PLATIL\u00ae<\/b>. In 1993, the PLATIL\u00ae<\/b> production was moved from Bonn to Hennef.<\/p>\n

MONOFIL-TECHNIK GmbH<\/b>, which, at this time, dealt exclusively with the manufacture of monofilaments using all of the available world market thermoplastics, took over production. Now the monofilament PLATIL\u00ae<\/b> is provided by a monofilament specialist.<\/p>\n

The name PLATIL\u00ae<\/b> is derived from two words:
\nthe first part from \u201cDr. Plate\u201d, the inventor of the monofilament fishing line; the second part from the word \u201cFilament\u201d (=thread), which resulted in the patented product.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
